    Moving can be quite hard. Many people tend to move and pack on their own, and they don’t ask anybody for help. Who knows why is that. Maybe it is about ego, or maybe it is because of a lack of friends in a particular place. But you shouldn’t move on your own if have someone to help you. As we said, moving is hard, and when one person does it, it can cause a lot of problems. Some of those problems are physical injury, moving stress, lack of time and energy, and so on. So, what are dos and donts of asking friends for help when moving? How should you behave when you’re asking someone for help? This is what we are going to find out. Let’s begin!

    Offer them future help

    Don’t be selfish. You shouldn’t act like the world revolves around you. It is morally right to offer to help back when you have been helped in the past.     Be considerate

    When you are asking friends for help, you have to be considerate. This means that you have to be understanding if they cannot help you, even if you think they are faking it. Also, you shouldn’t boss them around. They are your friends and not your slaves. After all, it is you who is moving and they are not obliged to help you.

    Don’t rush them

    When you’re asking friends for help when moving it is important not to rush them. After all, it is your responsibility to have everything prepared for moving.

    Moving and packing should be done in advance. It is not ok to ask your friends for help on the same day you are moving. You have to notify them when you are moving if you want their help. If you’re calling them on a day you are moving, there is a high chance that they won’t be able to help you. Also, you should complete some tasks before you call them. So, notify them and have your stuff ready for the relocation before they arrive.
